Taking inspiration from the changing texture, colour and movement in the landscapes that surround her, Marion uses oxides and glazes to achieve a spontaneous and individual finish. Every piece is hand thrown and painted before being fired to a stoneware temperature.
After studying ceramics at Bath Academy of Art, Marion has worked on many projects experimenting with different engineering materials and build methods.
She always returns to the medium of clay.
This work is inspired by the different countryside around her and the ancient landscape of the Pembrokeshire coast.
